Bithal Bhardwaj the chief information security officer for General Electric currently responsible to drive regional cybersecurity strategy, strengthening risk posture of the Company and enable secure digital transformation across Industry. He has an extensive experience of more than 18 years in building and leading global and regional cyber security and IT programs for large conglomerate spanning over multiple industries and IT Services companies.

Key Security Initiative 

Some of the notable initiatives taken by GE in the region to meet the business objectives are: 1. Retooled technology to address risks - Introduced OT security assurance program for factories, improved phishing simulation program to map human vulnerabilities, incubated "Personal security advisor" chatbot, Automation of ISO controls compliance metrics using data analytics. 2. New perspectives for cyber engagement with the organization and leadership - Cyber Loyalty Program for employees (points based reward system), embedded security talent within software development teams through Tiered champion program and made cyber security a common goal with business and functional stakeholders. 3.
