He has over 16 years of experience in the field of information and cyber security, and has been successfully delivering security architecture, exhibiting compliance and conducting security audits for multiple leading organizations in India, Singapore, Malaysia and Middle East.
He was previously the head of cyber security solutions and operations at HDFC Bank. Prior to that, he held various positions in the field of information and cyber security across multiple leading firms including BT India, Symantec, McAfee, Apara Enterprise Solutions, Wipro Infotech and HCL Infosystem.

Reports collected through various intelligence threat feeds have shown increase in threats for financial institutions wherein attackers use more sophisticated and persistent techniques like spear-phishing, zero-day exploits, SQL-injection, customized malware, drive-by downloads and social engineering to hack into computer systems. The organization deployed advanced technologies like Sandbox, Honeypots, Network Packet Analysis, Endpoint User Behavior Analytics to perform forensics beyond the standalone log analysis and correlation performed by conventional SIEM (Security Information & Event Management Solution).
