Shital Jiwane started her career as a programmer/system analyst handling home-grown finance systems in BPCL prior to ERP-era. She handled other functional roles of Information Systems like web developer, SQL DBA, system administrator before taking over as the refinery’s IT Infrastructure Head. Jiwane later moved to corporate IS setup in the year 2014 where she majorly overlooked Infrastructure and Operations setup, covering SAP BASIS & Non-SAP System Admin domains.
Jiwane recently took over as Head of Network, Security & GRC domain. In her tenure, she has executed major projects such as Wireless LAN & Wireless PTP connectivity within the refinery campus, Server Virtualization, VDI, Video Surveillance and Access Control, Converged IT, Backup Infrastructure modernization etc.
She is an alumnus of VJTI, Mumbai University and recipient of Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt Certification and Winner of Ideas 2010 award in BPCL in Systems and Process Improvement category. She has also completed International Certification Program in Business Management for Women Executives of CPSEs of India organized by ASCI Hyderabad and FELU Slovenia.
