Key security initiatives
Lalitpur Power Generation Company implemented DMA in order to have SIP/H.323 registration from all existing video end points including video phones, desktop clients and mobile clients.
DMA was integrated with active directory for authentication and to provide all users their own virtual meeting rooms. Resource Manager was installed to manage all video resources and integrated with DMA to share registration and site topologies. Access Director was deployed to enable users on internet to have video collaboration with users who are within the network in secure and encrypted manner. Mobile and desktop clients were provided to users so that they can collaborate with other users using desktop clients (laptop/desktops) and mobile (ipad, tablet, mobiles etc.). Users are able to collaborate while on the move.
Video firewall was implemented to ensure video traffic in secure and encrypted manner and to ensure that only registered users can use the system after proper authentication. Further authentication is ensured through Active Directory so that only legitimate users can use video collaboration system. Other resources RPRM, DMA keep track of the call and have all logs available which can be used to troubleshoot in case of any incidence.
