In the past, Khullar has worked for various global firms such as Aricent Technologies, HCL Infosystems, Bank of America and Interglobe Enterprises.

Sunil Varkey, who was most recently VP and Chief Information Security Officer at Wipro, has joined enterprise security player Symantec as its new CTO and security strategist for emerging regions.
Prior to his 5-year long stint at Wipro, Varkey was the head of information security and privacy at Idea Cellular.
Name: Shivanath Somanathan
Shivanath Somanathan has joined Freshwork as its new CISO. Prior to his appointment, Somanathan was the CISO for India operations at Tata Communications.
In his current role, the cybersecurity veteran with over two decades of experience will be manning the helm for information security, governance, risk and compliance related to product development and production infrastructure.

Delzad P Mirza has been appointed as the head of information security for Shapoorji Pallonji Group and has plans to build the entire security team from scratch.
Prior to being appointed as the Head of Information Security and Compliance, Mirza was an Associate Project Manager Info Security & Compliance at Tata Technologies.

Designation: APAC cyber head
Former Metlife Asia CIO, David Gee, has joined HSBC Commercial Banking as its APAC regional head of cybersecurity.
Gee recently left his position as senior VP and CIO at Metlife Asia after a one-and-a-half year stint with the company in Tokyo, Japan. In his new role, Gee is responsible for providing cyber and information security leadership across APAC and implementing the group’s strategy.
Name: Michael Coates
Twitter’s chief information security officer, Michael Coates has quit the company with plans to co-found his own security venture post the exit.
Coates joined Twitter in 2015. In his role he led the security program for Twitter across all elements of information security. Previously, Coates was the chairman of the global board of directors for OWASP, the largest open source application security community.

Mathan Babu Kasilingam has been appointed as the new CISO at NPCI. With over 16 years of experience in the field of information and cyber security, Kasilingam has handled various roles – from handling account management and technology sales to holding various profiles in developing and rolling security services.
As the Head of Cyber Security Solutions and Operations at HDFC, he was instrumental in building a robust cybersecurity defence and response mechanism for the bank.
Name: Brett Wahlin
Brett Wahlin has been hired by Staples as its first-ever CISO. Wahlin, who will report to the company's CTO, will be responsible for enterprise-wide information, product and data security at Staples. Wahlin joins Staples from Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE), where he served as vice president and CISO.
Previously, Wahlin was Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Sony Network Entertainment International and CSO at McAfee. He has also been CISO at Los Alamos National Laboratory and VP of security architecture for Wells Fargo.
