Shiju Rawther, the man credited with leading the digital cyber forensic team at credit rating major TransUnion CIBIL, announced that he has joined India Infoline as executive vice president – IT.
Rawther, in his previous role, was the head of IT infrastructure and security operations at TransUnion CIBIL (TUCIBIL).
With close to two decades of experience accrued across India’s top companies like Sify, Wipro Infotech and Fullerton India Credit Company, Rawther has bagged the prestigious CIO100 as well CSO100 awards in 2016 and 2018 respectively. He is also an advisory board member of CSO Online.
Rawther led CIBIL’s Digital Cyber Forensic team and was responsible for investigation data breaches and investing threats.
At TUCIBIL, he drove the initiative to ensure servers were not vulnerable and completely secure from any kind of malicious activity. He was responsible for designing an all-encompassing architecture to overhaul the security infrastructure of TUCIBIL.
His initiatives made it possible for virtual patching to shield vulnerabilities from exploits until they could be patched. This helped achieve timely protection against known and zero-day attacks.
TUCIBIL wanted to implement a custom defense strategy with a solution that could provide network-wide visibility and control to combat targeted attacks. Additionally, integrity monitoring and log inspection modules helped the organization meet compliance by identifying suspicious behavior and security events.
